It's been a long time.  I lost my phone for a while, which also means I lost the internet.  Sucked huge.  I got a new phone number, after fighting with old company (since the bill was paid then they cut my line.)  Now I don't know how long I may have this number as Scott's job didn't work out.  We haven't yet paid for Sept. Rnt.  We're looking kind of screwed at this point.  Hopefully I can make a deal again with the landlords.

Now for some good news.  I went shopping for wedding dresses with my sister today.  She has been bugging me for 2 months to go but I kept putting if off.  I'm very self conscience about my body and have heard horror stories about bridal salons only have tiny dress sizes.  So finally I gave in and we went shopping.  We went to a store that I had heard was extremely expensive.  We went because they were advertising a crazy sale.  The ladies  were extemely nice.  They were fabulous.  They let me use a boustier (42DD...ouch) and then went to find me dresses.  I asked them just to bring me what they thought would be good.  I figure they see so many body types, that they would know what would look good.  This store had a wide range of prices and sizes.  They even carry a plus size line.  For a very small shop, they were fantastic. 

The first dress I tried on was ok.  It had a lot of boobage.  The second dress I tried on, I ddin't even leave the fitting room.  It just felt like crap.  I opened the door to have my sister finish doing it up, and she said "don't even bother".  That's why I'm glad she is my Maid of Honor.  She's extemely honest.  That's what I love about her.

The third dress I tried on was THE DRESS!  Can you believe that?  The first time shopping and the third dress I put on.  I tried on another dress after that one. I was crazy hot.  It had a huge train which I didn't like.  I could barely get a good look at it.  I made my Sister help me out of it.  I was so hot I thought I would pass out.  I figure if I can't have it on for 5 minutes in the store (even though the store was hot) how will I handle 30 degree whether next summer in it. 

So I put number 3 on again.  I loved it.  Lynne went out and called my mom to come down and see it.  My is buying the dress for me, so I wanted her to come and give an opinion.  I tried on the 4 dress and they ranges from $400 - $1500.  The one I fell in love with was $585 with a shawl and purse.  It is a crazy good price.  It is strapless (which I never thought I would like) and it is a corset back which is really great.  I ordered the dress one size large then the sample dress.  I need more room for the girls, but I will have to have it taken in in the waist and hips.  The dress will take about 6 months to come in.  That is soooo long.
